Grilled Sausages in Green Salsa

What you need

  • 8pc.
    Tomatillos
  • 2cups
    Boiling water
  • 4Tbsp.
    Chopped onion
  • 2cloves
    Garlic
  • 1pc.
    Serrano peppers
  • 2Tbsp.
    Chopped cilantro
  • 1Tbsp.
    Vegetable oil
  • to taste
    Salt
  • 8links
    Johnsonville® Mexican-style Artisanal Sausage
  • 2cups
    Cooked white rice
  • 2cups
    Cooked blacked beans

Preparation

    Cook tomatillos in the boiling water until very soft, remove from heat and Blend with onion, garlic, chili and cilantro. Heat oil and pour sauce, cook at medium heat for 5 minutes and season with salt to taste.

    Grill Johnsonville® Mexican-style Artisanal Sausage on medium heat until heated through and add to the green sauce.

    Serve the sausages with the green sauce, rice and beans on the side.
